The Tsunamis and I are very important movie reviewers, didn't you know? We do a series of 'What my kids thought of X' for Live4. It's an absolute hoot, mainly because Maxi says pretty much the same thing about every movie we watch. It goes something like this...
"Hahaahahaahahah my favourite part hahahahahahaahah was when the guy goes hahaha [insert unintelligible important message from the guy here] and everyone goes hahahhahahaha."
And Cappers pipes up with, "I liked the girl but I didn't like the boy. The movie was too long."
And Badoo chimes in with her standard, "there were no scary bits."
Oh, we are so in demand my fellow movie reviewers and I.
You can read our (ground breaking) thoughts on The Lorax here and Pirates! Band of Misfits here.
What's your kids' current favourite movie? (I am making mine love Brave.)

Love it! Sunny's favourite movie would have to be my sisters wedding dvd! It drives me bonkers! Her 2nd favourite movie would have to be The Sound of Music - I'm OK with that :) for now.

Both boys demand Toy Story 3 on a daily basis. Sometimes multiple times daily. I still haven't seen the whole thing...
Haha, I hope you pay those reviewers handsomely for a job well done!
The favourite in our house at the moment is Gnomeo and Juliet, with Pirates a close second x
Maxi and my kids could swap reviews, except Kate's are more like 'gigglegiggle giggle' instead of 'hahahahahah'.
They are avid movie-goers, like their parents, and we always do a 'best bit/worst bit' discussion.
Interestingly, they sometimes comment on plot or character development. Mostly, though, it's 'hahahahahah'.
At the moment my Little Miss 4 loves Cat in the HAt, Tangled and Annie (such a classic).
My girls LOVED brave but recently they went all the way back to Finding Nemo! They are 11 and 16 I should add and they totally LOVE all their disney movies! I have to constantly buy more DVD's - I thought this was going to stop when they got older?!?!?!
Oh Brave.... we all love Brave.
I'm longing for the day when they adore 'Anne of Green Gables' as much as I do.
I tried to get my little miss to watch Finding Nemo today. Lasted two minutes... Bad review? Or maybe is not yet ready to watch a movie. Which begs the question, when did your kids start watching a movie from beginning to end? xx
Only 3 1/2 for the Lorax!?
I have to admit to sobbing towards the end of that movie. I was glad we were at the drive-in. I must have been tired.
I hear we are catching up soon? Yay! There's a few families that will be enjoying their first ever camping experience so it should be interesting ;-)
If I hear my children quote "Despicable Me" one more time I'm not sure what I'll do to said child. Other recent fave was the Night at the Museum movies. They now surprisingly want to go to any museum they see! Bonus!
