Preschoolers make the best cleaners

That lil' Badoo of mine, she loves to help. She's a lot like her mummy like that, with one major difference. The Badoo likes to help with the cleaning.

Set her up right and she goes and goes and goes. I wrote about her six best chores today on Village Voices.

My preschooler can lick a bowl clean with the best of them!!
And he's ace at putting socks into pairs so I can fold them (then he puts them away!)

My preschooler is the best cleaner too - she loves to mop the floors!

Maybe it's the age, my little man is the same. His best job is cleaning the windows, he even gets out a towel for the floor so it doesn't get wet. My little miss cheeky who is 19mths, is following in his footsteps, she cleans the floors & walls super well for her age:)

My preschooler is good at 'cleaning' the cake bowls, very good at 'cleaning' the inside rim of jam jars and chocolate coconut butter jars and excellent at cleaning up his craft table when any of the above is in store. That's it... Oh and he loves putting his clothes away. Washing is the only chore he sees his mother enjoy!

Oh cute, my year old is obsessed with helping a cleaning too at the moment (most of the time and when it suits her). I think I may steal this little idea of integration onto village voices.x

I have found each of my children particularly helpful around the house around age 3/4. Unfortunately I have found that at age 5 the desire promptly disappears! Thanks to you clever Maxabella my little 4 year old now has her own cleaning bucket and is in heaven and quite frankly so am I - thanks!!!
