Have you met Tessa from Down That Little Lane? She's a sweetheart, that Tessa. Her words are kind, her heart is true and her family is so gorgeous you actually might not want to look. Oh, go on, do look. She's a doll.
Tessa's been on my rounds for ages as a blog I visit often. She recently launched the most astronomically wonderful online boutique called, you guessed it, Down that Little Lane. Again, it's a place full of such beautiful things that you might not want to look. Oh, go on, go look! It's so darn yummy that you won't be able to resist buying a truckload, but it's all such good stuff, what's it matter? Wallet? Stop frowning at me, Wallet. Look away.
ANYWAY.
One of the items I just adore is this 'Be Kind to Others' print by The Press Gang. I love its simplicity, I love its vintage vibe, I love its colours, but most of all I love its message. I have just now purchased one for my girls' (as yet still unstarted) shared bedroom. I think it might help them settle in together?
Tessa has very kindly supplied one for a lucky winner too! Yep, it's about time I had a fresh giveaway, don't you think?
All you need to do to be in with a chance to win one of these prints is leave a comment on this post. Tell me why kindness matters to you or tell me something else. Be sure to leave an email contact. That's all.
You can follow me, like me and follow Tessa and like Down That Little Lane too*. Of course you can, and I highly recommend it, but only if you really, really want to. I'll draw a random winner after entries close midnight on Saturday night (Sydney time) and post the lucky kid's name on Sunday at 4pm.
Leave a comment. Be in with a chance.
And be kind to others, won't you?
* Defo sign up for the newsletter, though. From next month, there will be fortnightly random giveaways for newsletter recipients. You'll want to be in on that one!

Kindness is important to me because it makes the world go round... yes?
x
I would like to be as kind to myself as I am to others....I often treat myself so poorly you'd think I hate myself!!!
We have this on the boys wall! Actually we have a set of these prints which I got for the very reason of the rules being "life rules". They're outside of the box. My favourite is "Love your family". An important one! There's also "Say please and thank you" as well as things like "Clean your room" and "Pick up your toys".
Great taste Bron!
Gorgeous! Love it's simplicity. Wish everyone would live by this mantra!
Being kind is a simple and really an easy thing to do, it can make others feel special and yourself feel good too. Teach our children kindness by showing them acts of kindness daily, the world will be a nicer place to live for all :)
Great post Bron and I found Tessa on the weekend...lovely things...will have to tell my wallet to stay away too!
I can see why you love that print! It's gorgeous. Kindness is the best kind of quality. See what I did?! Double kind! Do I score double points?! x
Oooh pretty. I love it!
And why is kindness important?
Well just look at the state of the world without it.
xx
Treat others as you wish to be treated. Life is so much nicer when we're kind. :)
Love, love, love that print.
Who doesn't need a beautiful reminder every day?
:-) x
It's seems that kindness is becoming more rare so when it does happen you have to hold on to it and make it last, once it's finished you need to put it back out in the world and keep it going!!
Xo Steph
If I teach my children to be kind to others, I have done my job.

Being kind makes you less grumpy so then it makes you happy, right? Something like that. Lovely shop & print! x
What a great poster. And what a great shop - I'm going back for a proper browse now!
Kindness underpins most other values I think. Think about how actions and thoughts affect yourself and others (and the environment).
I think I'd hang it in our little art area.
This is perfect! I want to instill a spirit of generosity, tolerance and gentleness in my boys, so this little reminder would fit perfectly.
Love that print. Will be perfect for your girls room, or any room for that fact! A little kindness never goes astray! x
Such a lovely print with words I am forever telling my kids. I'm sure it will be one of those things they always remember about me, forever nagging them to be kind, nice, friendly to everyone and especially to each other because they're the only siblings they have!
Kindness starts at home, hopefully then it spreads, so I think it's important to instill it in your kids early on!
Kind is such a short little word, but kindness can change somebody's world, improves many days, and it goes hand in hand with love.
What a great poster. Kindness. It comes from the heart. It speaks from the soul. It enlightens the mind and mostly it lends love to others that need love. How would our world be without it? thanks for reminding me of its wonder.
oh and my email is nbunyon@gmail.com
I looooooooove Tessa's site - she has done an amazing job with it and I agree that everyone should throw their wallets to the wind and go check it out!
We blogged about this!!
Kindness is my fave underrated virtue...it costs nothing and can make a world of difference
selfishly being kind not only makes others feel great it gives you a good dose of the feel goods too, its a win-win really, it's what makes the world go around.
I'd love to have it on my Wonder Wall. It would remInd me of the importance of kindness in biz. Maybe it would help me change the world! See... Mine already ;-)
Kindness is a word that we try use in our house many many times each day. I had no idea of its' value until I had a complicated child and now I am a complete convert.melx
Kindness matters because it always brings peace with it. x
Love it - kindness is so important to me (and in my family) as I think there is enough darkness and negativity in the world. I love watching my girls grow up and knowing I can truly describe them as kind - they care about people, treat friends well, are generous and loving.
we all need reminding, I am currently planning my little boy's new room and this would be perfect. I blogged about his new room today so this is quite timely.
:)
I do so like a simple profundity!
lovely for my kids room!
because without kindness we wouldn't have friends
That's a lovely print! A little kindness goes a long way.
Love it.
As a mum to two sound children being kind to others and to the other sibling is a message we try and instill every day. This piece is just wonderful for reaffirming those messages in the home in a calm and colourful way.

Treat others as you'd like them to treat you... definitely think kindness is pretty near the top of the list there!!
Gorgeous print!
Please count me in - my kids (er and the rest of us) can all do with a reminder like that.
Kindness makes the world go round.

I remember at school when I was growing up one of my teachers said that the word 'kind' was boring when describing someone. Throughout my life Ive thought I've experienced kindness. It wasn't until my miscarriage last year that I've really realists what kindness is. Now I really do try to be kind, no matter how boring some may think 'kind' is!
Kindness is so under-rated today, it is so easy to be kind, and is as rewarding to give kindness as it is to receive, a wonderful trait to pass on to our children.
What a gorgeous, gorgeous prinit! Love 'Down That Little Lane'. A smörgasbord of deliciousness! Kindness, to me, is goodness, caring, acknowledging, nurturing, helping, giving, listening, supporting, respecting, offering, hugging, smiling and loving. It is a quality I promote to my 3 daughters all the time, to be kind to each other, themselves and all others. Kindness is what binds friends, families and communities. Without kindness, this world would be intolerable.

Kindness is (or should be) important to everyone...it is one of the first things we teach our children. I believe it goes hand in hand with gratitude. I am currently picture deep in the 365 Grateful Project...and quick pic posted daily for something that I am grateful for on that day xo Love your posts, keep 'em coming.

I choose KINDNESS in my life because the alternative can be nasty, unhealthy and boring. Choose to give kindness no matter how it is received, and to receive kindness, if it is on offer.
Love the print, love the idea of a giveaway...about kindness. Love reading your blog, Bron.
Kindness should be important to everyone!
Love the print - may have to get one for my desk
Love it! Perfect for my little girls' playroom. They are the best of friends for now, but when the little one gets more mobile there may be wars ahead'
Toy wars that is!

Kindness would be one of the most important virtues I would hope my children will learn. Can't live happily without something as simple as kindness!
Kindness is behaviour that can lift your mood, get you out of a bind, and generally brighten an otherwise dull day.
Kindness of the random kind is the best of all!
Kate
I don't think my kids are too old for this message, and I have exactly the place to put it! ('Be kind to your mother' would make a great poster too!)

Kindness and manners for the win. The life win.

Kindness is one of the best virtue a parent can teach their child. I would love to place this in my little girl's room.
Kindness to me is doing unto others as you would have others do unto you. Wouldnt the world be a better place if we all acted such a way???
Kindness comes easily to me I think I take after my Mum in that way that I care about everyone, sometimes before I care about myself.
Kindness is something so basic and can have far reaching consequences. Being kind to yourself and to others is a trait I want to instil in my beautiful son and new baby girl. This gorgeous poster is something to gently remind them!
"be kind to each other" Is what my husband and I write on all the wedding cards we have to write. Its the only advice we give newly weds. It makes our relationship spin thats for sure. Pick me randomly please. xsx

Even if you think you have nothing to give, you can always give the priceless gift of kindness. It doesn't cost money and it usually doesn't take up much of your time. I hope to teach Jude to be kind to others, even if they aren't kind to him. Thankfully he is already a gentle little spirit and is a sweetheart by nature. x

Cute print Bron!
I'm always being told by my friends that I don't ever have a bad word to say about anyone.
I like that!
There is no need to be nasty. Just nice and Kind!
I actually think that print would look lovely in my kitchen! (Although I so probably put it in Abi's room...)
My smallest two need to be reminded of this. I'd love to win it then I'd buy another and stick it to their foreheads!
I love this.
We have two rules for the kids:
1. Do as I say. Because.
2. Be kind to others. Treat them as you would like to be treated.
It's our family mantra.
Yes, she is all things beautiful. I love that Lane!
