Tomorrow my 3 kids and 1 not-so-kid are back to school/work too. Usually I'm well and truly ready for them to go back too, but not this time. I think it has made a difference that my husband took his holidays at the end rather than the start.
Glad to see you had a break at the beach after a not so great week.Terrigal is a fantastic place.

Oooh lovely pics Bron. Sounds like you had the perfect end-of-holidays getaway :) Summer was perfect here in QLD over Xmas/New Year, but it's rain non stopped for about the last 2 weeks, and although summer is our wet season....this is just ridiculous. I miss the warmth & the sun & the beach :) Hope the transition back into school routine goes smoothly!
xo
P.S. I mentioned you on my blog today :)

I am sad that school is back tomorrow, but I'm kinda glad they are going back too. It's been so nice to be home with the boys for all these weeks, but I also know it's time to get out of holiday-mode and get back into a routine. Glad you enjoyed Terrigal, I love it up there.

6 weeks of sunshiny bliss with my little beach babes and I have adored every minute of it! Holidays are WONDERFUL! Back to work and the beggining of school for us this week. I'm not sure I'm ready for all of that to sink in.

Looks like a wonderful time Bron. I adore how the beach brings out that real sense of spirit in our little people.

Had to just drop by and say that you picked a great holiday spot. We love it! Am I sad that school is back? Well, no, not really, because it will mean that everything gets back to normal, including the traffic in Terrigal!

What a lovely mini break.
As much as I love my cherubs, I am looking forward to the return of routine!

Back to school here tomorrow too.

Pros and cons, I have to say.

Just beautiful. We're back Thursday. I LOVE school holidays and have loved having them all home. This last week their has been a bit of fighting between my pinks - making it a little easier to send them back. But I have just loved us all being together and having no routine to follow. Blissful :)

My hubs had 5 weeks off work, absolutley unheard of in these parts. It was special to spend that time together as a family. Sure we caught in floods and had little sunshine, it was still precious. x

Very lucky indeed - but it takes real skill to see it :)

Beautiful pics Bron. Looks like a lovely beach to visit. We are not at the school stage yet and my husband starts holidays in one week - so we haven't really had our summer break yet. Hoping the weather stays nice in Feb and we will head down the great ocean road - first proper beach trip for us as a family.

worst bit is the end of maternity leave as of Wednesday (feels ill)

So great to hear you were able to be together as a family! School goes back on Wednesday and I really don't want the kids to go. Not looking forward to them being away and the routine school brings. I do get some quality time with my baby girl, so I look forward to thatx

These are the best summer holiday pics. I'm sure the tsunamis loved every minute of having their parents around for a few extra weeks.
Hope the reentry to work is not too bumpy. It can be hard to say goodbye to summer. x

I'm a little scared to say goodbye to the school holidays. It's the first time the school holidays have really drawn a line in our routine. Oscar starts kindy tomorrow! It's been ridiculously warm over here so we have spent plenty of time at the beach too. Your pictures are beautiful, my favorite was the very first. x

Beautiful pics Bron, I can feel the warmth. I love school holidays with no routines, but Miss B was itching to go back as she was starting a new school. Started back last Wednesday, and she couldn't be happier, thank goodness!!
My favourite was going to our local coffee shop at the beach to add to the shell collection. xx

Loads of lazy beach days have definitely been my favourite. I am dreading getting back into the routine, but I can tell my boys are certainly ready to get back to school & friends..
