This week I'm grateful for... coincidences

Don't you just love a coincidence? I've had three happen this week.  One of the girls who is interested in our newly vacant nanny position used to live in our house.  One of my fave bloggers lives in the same suburb as me. The new boyfriend of a work friend is an old school mate of mine.

Amaaaaazing every time.

So this week I'm grateful for...

1. Coincidences - there's a touch of the fairy dust about them. They let you form bonds you never expected for reasons that spark your imagination.

2. Knowledge - learning new stuff is a must for me. I never want to stop learning and growing and knowing. Right now it's how gardens grow. Later, who knows?

3. Movies - any spare time that I can gather I want to spend at the movie theatre. I have always loved it there.

So, what's making you smile today? Grab my I'm grateful for... button from my sidebar if you like, add your I'm Grateful For post below and please add a link back to me in your post. Then pop over to visit other bloggers who are spreading a little sunshine. Happy day to you!

Three lovely things in life, all of them with some element of surprise (as long as the movie is good!)

I saw two films during my "not working" weeks and the feeling of indulgence of sitting quietly in the dark with a choctop (at 10am, hmm) was guilt-inducing!

I love going to the movies as well. When I get a chance I slip out by myself and I love it x

Wow. Three coincidences in one week. Woot!

You know, when Hubby and I were first dating, we worked out that we'd been at the same party when I was about 19, he 18 (yes - toy boy), which was 3 years prior. We also worked out we were at the same place on NYE (the year before we started seeing each other). Altho - it was Perth. It's not the biggest place in the world. ;)

BUT - the corker, was one day we drove to this street in a beach side suburb. It's a very long street. I told him my nephew (my age) used to live there. He said, "Oh, I did too." We were amazed. ANyway, we drove down looking for the houses and guess what? It was the same house! His mother had sewn the curtains that hung in my nephews rental property!

HA!

Oh, BTW - they weren't both living there at the same time. Just thought I'd better clarify that. ;)

Okaaay...have a lovely weekend, hon! xxx

Love this weeks' gratefuls, and I know I don't comment on your pictures, but this one is just more beautiful than all the others... and the others are gorgeous too!

What amazing coincidences hey? Yes, I still manage to be blown away both those sorts of things too. The nanny is definitely meant to be, I think ;)

Have a wonderful weekend! xx

Oh I love coincidences. They make me happy, like there's some cosmic connection.

It's the wee hours of the morning here and I should have gone to bed hours ago but instead I'm up blogging. But I'm going to try to get a bit of sleep and come back and read some more grateful posts tomorrow!

I'm grateful for the weather. Sunny, with just a bit of a chill in the air. Perfect playground weather.

Does this make me officially lame??

"It's a small world after all..." That song is annoying though.
This week I'm grateful for finding new glasses. I've been looking forever for the "perfect pair" and now I found them! So I'm happy about that.

I love a good coincidence too! The best one being, standing at the Verona train station in Italy many years ago at 7.15am, waiting for a train, and meet another Australian girl, from Melbs too, we discovered we had a mutual friend, and she had lived in the house I was currently living in before us. Way freaky!
Have a lovely weekend :) Cat

Speaking if coincidences, I made it to Rewind at the Fibro on time for once this week, and ended up clicking on precisely one other linky. It was an interesting story, so I clicked on a linkwithin, which just happened to show photos from 20 years ago... and there I saw a girl who had been at my school!
