I love Childhood 101 for practical, no-nonsense advice about keeping the fun in childhood. I'm very excited to be a contributor for Christie today, especially as I never have imagined I would have something to offer such a fab parenting blog (see here, here and here). But she was keen for me to talk about morning time management and that I can most certainly do! Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of Childhood 101, Christie!
Come check out my routine for making it out the door on time...

Just 2 weeks ago when my eldest started school I sat here on the computer looking for routines to get 3 kids out of the door on time .... and now I have finally found one that makes sense to me. While we manage I to be where we need to be on time I am not sure how much "fun" it is. I think I am going to give your themes a go ... only thing I may just struggle with is not making the bed - maybe I just need to let it go .... maybe! Thanks once again for sharing - you're ace!!
Loved this...even time for fun! I'm taking notes (and have linked today.) Great post. x
can I just say WOW.... I dont know how you do it ... when we were both working I had to get up at 5am just to get all 4 of us out the house....its awesome you have it so organized... you know us arty types..we are all over the place lol
just went over to have a read - very thorough Bron - i love it!!!
clickety click and away I go!
Read this post and thought to myself {again} that Maxabella knows her shit.
Thank you! I have just had the most rubbish morning! Dan got up and went to work without waking me, or doing anything with helping out with the boys. I woke at 8.30! (Charlie starts school at 8.55)... I am so tired at the moment. So alot of rushing, panicing, shouting, getting stressed... and feeling and looking like a complete crap mother!
So yes, thankyou... it is up to me to change this... get more organised in the evening, and bring some fun into the way we say hello & goodbye in the morning.

Hi! I found you from your post at Childhood 101. Being organised the night before truly is the key for the morning to go smoothly. We've had many-a-times when the wheels have fallen off at the last minute!
Fantastic post, I'm even more in awe than I was already. I used to struggle getting out the door for work, 2 days a week... with 1 child! My, I would need to do some serious training to make it work for the number of days & tiny tots you have to organise. Thank you for the inspiration though :o)

Yay! You're letting me know you're there. In reality I'm HOPELESS at replying, but in my head I am very very good. Happy day to you! x
