Here in Maxabellaland, Saturday is traditionally a sport, shop, sort the clothes, sweep the floors, strangle the Tsunamis (insert other 's' words here - no pun intended) kinda day. But it's nice to pause to appreciate the things in your life that are positive and affirming, whatever they may be. Thank you to all the lovely blogs that link up for yummy bloggy visits each Grateful Saturday.
This Saturday I'm grateful for...
1. Hammocks - It's impossible to be unhappy when you're swinging in a hammock.
2. Mermaids - I've been under the sea in mermaidia for the past couple of weeks preparing for Cappers' 5th birthday party today. I'll post on it tomorrow, but today I am grateful for the siren song and dreamy allure of mermaids.
3. Lights - It's not until they're gone that you realise how lucky we are to be able to switch on a light whenever we need.

love a hammock! I recently found out that when we moved house MM decided to throw out my hammock as "I never use it!"...I was soooo annoyed!

I am a hammock lover too. It is a mark of the seasons.....I love it when the hammock gets retrieved from the shed and hung up.....it marks the start of summer days...xx

I wish I was grateful for hammocks. I think I saw one once... but I have never been in one. I am possibly not co-ordinated enough to use one though ;)

Oh my goodness, I can't remember the last time I even went on a hammock...but now you've got me craving a moment to kick back with a book {and a cocktail lol} & swing relaxingly in a hammock on a warm Spring day!! I may be on a mission now to source a hammock for our back patio lol.
